  2. Discussion of design, color scheme, lot size, etc.
    Please let us know the purpose of use, image design, and budget. If you have an image of what you want, but cannot prepare a detailed design, please contact us. If you are able to prepare your own design, please let us know the design, total quantity, and delivery date using Illustrator, Photoshop, or hand-drawn designs. We will give you an estimate at this stage. Even if this is your first order, we can weave it together with you.
  3. Quotation
    Estimate. The price of the cloth is determined by the type of thread used, the total amount of thread, and the pattern design. Estimates are free of charge.
  4. Agreement
    After the quotation, we will make a contract according to your format and rules. We will originate the crest paper from the design and decide on the color scheme at the same time. We decide the color of the warp threads and the weft threads to be woven into the design.
  5. Sample
    We will weave sample Nishijin Kinran Brocade.
  6. Send sample Nishijin Kinran Brocade
    The color of the first sample weaving may be different from your expected warp color. The cost of sample weaving is “twice the price of the fabric” x the length of weaving. We will send you a half-width of 70cm silk fabric (about 35cm width).
  7. Final meeting
    After viewing the fabrics sent to us, we begin the final process of design modifications, color schemes, weaving techniques, and so on. This process of sending fabric samples and meeting with the customer is repeated until the customer is satisfied.
  8. Weaving
    We will do the silk weaving for the production. Minimum lot size is 5m. Delivery time will vary depending on what weaving is done and what color scheme is used.
  9. Deliverable
    We will deliver the product for you.
Necessary expenses
  1. Data cost for the design and weave (varies depending on the size and color scheme of the design)
  2. Sample weaving cost. The cost is twice the price of the fabric x the length of the fabric to be woven (shipping charges apply). We will send you a half-width of 70cm silk fabric (about 35cm width).
  3. Weaving cost. Minimum lot size is 5 m. From 19,100 yen (tax not included)/m (Shipping cost is required separately). Consumption tax is exempted for shipments sent outside of Japan.
