Nishijin kinran brocade Tsuru Kikkou (Crane Turtle Shell Pattern) pattern

Three cranes are placed on Mitsudomoe (three comma-shaped figures in a circle) and put in a turtle shell pattern called KIKKOU.

Turtles and cranes are considered a symbol of longevity in Japan.

KIKKOU is one of the Kissho Monyo (auspicious omens motifs) that has been loved for a long time.
